Canada celebrated it's 145th birthday today and it turned out to be a great day ... at least here! No, we didn't venture very far, as we were wrapping up some 'duties' on the farm and getting ready to head off on our annual canoe trip down the Red Deer river but we did manage to celebrate with family around the kitchen table this evening while enjoying a glass of wine and barbecued ribs! I think all of us feel pretty blessed to live in this wonderful country we call 'Canada!'
